1:32 Scale JCB 3CX Pallet Forks Fitting Instructions

 

The following drawings and photos will show how the Pallet Fork Kit is fitted to the Britains JCB 3CX.

The bucket shown has been removed from the model, this is not necessary for fitting the forks.

 

First find the centre of the bucket, 37mm.

Glue the centre bracket in place, keeping it out to the front edge.

A clear 2 part Epoxy Adhesive is best or if using Super Glue use a Fan or hair dryer to prevent the vapours staining the parts white.

 

 

Next, the end brackets are glued on 8mm from the outside edge of the bucket. 

Insert the bar through all three brackets and check it runs parallel to the bucket before the glue dries.

You can now slide the forks over the bar on each side.

The brackets for holding the forks in position can now be fixed to the back of the bucket.

Fold the fork back and fit the bracket so that it just catches the tip of the fork and holds it in position.

The forks should be able to fold down when in use and then folded back up and into the bracket again when not in use.
